Can I claim your services through my private health insurance?

Yes you can. The amount you are permitted to claim back is dependant on your health fund, your level of cover and the particular service. Acupuncture is generally covered, Chinese Herbal Medicine may or may not be covered by your fund.

Do you have EFTPOS available?

Yes you can pay with your debit or credit card.

Please note that card fees apply.

Is Rejuvenate Chinese Medicine a home-based business?

Yes, we are situated in a residential area. There is no big sign out the front.

I may be uncomfortable coming to see you for treatment alone. Can I bring a support person with me?

Yes of course. It is highly recommended and encouraged that you bring a support person if you may feel uncomfortable. Children under the age of 18 must attend with an adult.

I dont like, and I am scared of needles, Will the acupuncture treatment be painful? 

Pain is minimised with the use of fine needles. These needles are not the same as hypodermic needles a doctor or nurse uses.

How do I make an appointment?

Please use the contact links on this website. An online booking system will be implemented in the near future.

Please be aware that all efforts will be made to cater to your preferred time. However, appointment slots tend to fill up rapidly, and securing a same-day appointment might be challenging and not always possible. Rest assured, we will do our best to fit you in.

What do I bring the appointment?

Please bring medical reports, scans, x-rays etc pertaining to your condition.

What should I wear to the appointment?

Please wear loose-fitting clothing wherever possible. 

How many treatments will I need?

This depends on your condition, the length and severity of symptoms and your constitution. You will be given a proposed treatment plan once you are assessed and evaluated during the consultation. 

I see you dont start until 10am and you dont work weekends? So it is not possible to see you before I go to work in the mornings?

On occasion, treatments have occured outside of scheduled hours. However, these have been organised and arranged with adequate notice. Weekends are not available at this stage. 

How long is an appointment?

The first consultation takes a little longer than normal as background medical history is taken.These can take up to 90 minutes. In general, however, most appointments last 45-60 minutes.

Is there anything I should do or avoid after my appointment?

It is recommended to stay hydrated, and avoid strenous activity or exercise for a day or so after your treatment.
